Jeremy started his first year at St. Clair Co. Community College this fall (2008). Jeremy is working on his prerequesite classes to allow him to be able to transfer to a University in 2 years. He has not fully decided on a major but is looking in the area of Film, Broadcast Journalism and Graphics Design. | 1979 | (St. Pierre) Hoopes, Kelly | Apr 24, 2009 at 21:49:36 | I have been married to Tom Hoopes, of St. Clair Shores, for 25 years. We have 2 children, Dayna, 21 and Tyler, 18. Both are extremely active like any average set of kids. I attended college at Western Michigan University and graduated in '83. Worked in the finance industry for 10 years when I went back to school and got my MBA in '97, at W.M.U. I have been working for a small software development company, called MicroVane (Now called VIP/Michigan), it develops and supports the software for beverage distributors across the country. Like all industries, the word of the day is consolidation, so we are currently experiencing the same as most other industries where their customer base is shrinking. With the purchases of A/B and Miller over the past few years, the number of distributors are also consolidating. I am looking forward to my youngest child'd graduation from Portage Central High School in June. Then, I guess I have to figure out what happens next. |

| 1979 | Shaffer, Chris | 2/21/2001 at 9:37:30 AM | Well, well, well... It's funny how after 20 years the names sound familiar but try to put a face to them. John Hicks, didn't we go to White Junior High togeter? Tammy Wilson & Tammy Henderson, There's a couple of Tammy's that are hard to foget. I remember you both from grade school. Tim Henley, I went out with your sister, Melissa (I know, Lisa), in kindergarten. How is she by the way? And William Watson, is that the Billy Watson I used to laugh my butt off with in Sunday School when we were 4 years old? Like the rest of you, I'm pushing 40, so the memories could be a little foggy. Well enough about you, here's the scoop on me. I'm single without children (although I do make a heck of an uncle) and I live in Lansing. (Go State) I've been here about 3 years working in admin for a printing company. I love to travel. Been to most of the National Parks, although Glacier Park in Montana is my favorite for hiking and living with the Grizzlies for a week or two. I love to exercise, it's my true passion. This summer my goal is to cycle 10 hundred mile days. Got 5 in so far. Last year I rode 150 miles in one day and about 700 miles for the summer. In the winter I run indoors and lift and in the fall I like to backpack. I was never into sports in high school, so I guess I'm making up for it now. I enjoy photography and have some pretty good shots from around the country. I lived in Houston for 3 years back in the early 80's and lived in Royal Oak for about 10 years before moving to Lansing. Bought a motorcycle last year and love those hot summer nights when you can ride in a tee shirt and just enjoy the breeze. I still go to Lapeer about every week to see my parents. Haven't run into many of you, by the looks of it you're scattered all over the country. I did run into Dan Coulter a year or so ago and I had a nice visit with John Rouse in July. I know this is long winded, but for those of you with a good memory, I was as shy as a person could get in High School. I've spent the last 20 years making up for that too. E-mail to say hi or shut up or whatever. See ya.... SPORTS UPDATE! 9/17/2000 I did it!!! Finished my 10th hundrend mile ride today for a total of 1160 miles this summer. Here's to turning 40. Yahhhh. |

God has called me to the mission’s field. I also was into property management 10 years. I now own a Home Improvement Business; was doing very well, and now times are very hard again.
