| 1983 | Anthony, Kenn | Feb 24, 2008 at 21:22:20 | Sitting next to Brian Russell and going out with his wife and my wife to see the movie Jumper. After graduating I spent four years with the Marine Corp and loved most of it, I married Autumn Rust in 1986 and we have two sons Jordan 16, and Jonah 8. Jordan was born 9 weeks premature and has Cerebral Palsy, Jonah was born without any problems and is a ball of fire most of the time, both boys are your normal boys playing and fighting, but they do love each other. I have tried a lot of things but the one thing I liked the most is when I had a team of sled dogs and trained them to pull my dogsled, we were going to get into some races in the UP but that never happened. I spent 11 yrs. with GM, I am one of those guys who took the buy out and started my own business. I started a taxidermy and deer processing business in 2006, it is doing ok, actually need to expand. I like to do action dioramas for the taxidermy and I also have dermestid beetles that clean the flesh off of bones and then I clean them up and whiten them for my customers for European mounts, and I rearticulate the skeletons. I also work at a wood shop during the day in Attica called Timberjack, I work there with Ed Irgang and Brian Russell. In 1985 I became a Christian as far as religion goes. I decided that what the Bible says about Jesus Christ is true and entered into a relationship with God through His Son Jesus Christ. Now I know that will sound weird to some people and to others it is what they have done, if you have ever wondered what life is and why we are here, the Bible has all your answers, not because I said it but because it is true, look into it you might be suprised. Well I hope everyone out there of the class of '83 is doing fine, you can reach me at jkkennel@wildblue.net or give me a call 810-658-3938, I live in Davison Mi. SEMPER FI |

| 1983 | ((same as above))Wood, Jennifer | 7/18/2003 at 12:27:54 AM | I just discovered this website; just in time I guess, since I see the reunion is a month away. I've been in Mt. Pleasant for most of the past seventeen years, with short breaks in Chicago & Sault Ste. Marie. Currently I'm working in the Clarke Historical Library at CMU, where I am one elusive research paper away from my master's degree in history. Have only been back to Lapeer once since my parents moved away in 1987; a very spooky experience, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. No husband, no kids, one cat (Zappa), & one nephew (my brother Ken's little boy, Ethan). Happy to hear from anyone who remembers me, even if I was a cheerleader at one point... Actually anyone from choir I'd be especially happy to catch up w/. |
| 1983 | Woycik, Greg | Aug 3, 2006 at 23:55:59 | New update...Moved back to Lapeer four years ago, but now living on the other side of town in West territory. The girls are now 8 and quite a handful. Kyle turned 13 and is learning the guitar. I have started Woycik Consulting, a metallurgical consulting firm, working out of my home. Much better than commuting to Detroit daily! Haven't been racing since moving back to Lapeer. Too much work to around the "farm". Take care and look me up if your in and around town. |
