| 1984 | (putnam)bacon, chantel | 8/15/2000 at 7:12:57 AM | well after reading all of the other posts, i was surprised to see how different our lives have gone. but to know that we are still walking the same path is fun. after we graduated, i met a wonderful man from west, (ya i know....) david bacon and we dated for about 1 1/2 years. before we got married we decided we wanted to have a large family. so we started a few months after we got married in may of 86. our first daughter was born in june of 87. i did go to school to get my NA certificate. then after getting that done, i started in the field of midwifery. i have been working as a lay midwife for 11 years now. i love it. birth is one of the most wonderful things i have ever witnessed. God is awesome !!! we currently have 6 children. 4 girls, and 2 boys.(in that order) 13,11,9,7,4,and 18 months.i love being a mother and all that that requires. we homeschool, homebirth, make everything from scratch and are very close. we see alot of other grads at homeschool activities, it is interesting to see how we still have things in common with each other. we live in otter lake, on north lake. we have lived here for 12 years, continuously remodeling and doing stuff to this house. with 4,000 sq.ft. we have alot to do. but it is fun. i hope that we can hear from others who are reading this. our email is baconbunchwow8@tds.net it would be great to talk to you. does anyone know if there is a reunion planned for our 20 th? wow , are we ever getting old!!!! we are currently attending otisville assembly of God church. it is worth the drive to come to a service. we love it!!!! we are very active in our church and we love Jesus with our whole hearts. life would not be anything without him. life dont get much better when you have the father's love!! God bless you all and hope to hear from you soon. chantel |
