| 1986 | Anthony, Kevin | Aug 7, 2007 at 22:30:50 | I am currently working in Novi, MI at an automotive parts supplier. Most of my work experience has been in Program Management and Quality and almost all in automotive. It has been rewarding and allowed me the opportunity to travel domestically and abroad which has been tremendous, but enough about work. I actually live in Clinton Twp with my wife of 12 years, Sharon, and my two children, Joe and Beth. The kids are 9 and 6 respectively and are just terrific. I don't do too awful much in my spare time (as if there is really "spare" time). The family keeps me pretty busy but I do get out to golf every Saturday. As much as I enjoy golfing, I think I enjoy dragging "the boy" to little league, CYO basketball, and CYO football more. "The girl" is just a joy ;). And “the wife”, well she is just fantastic as well. I think that's all I have for now. I hope all of you are doing fine. Take care. |

| 1986 | (Felk) Betten, Sandy | Nov 21, 2008 at 15:50:36 | Hmm. I didn't know this site even existed. Welcome to the internet! I was doing a search on an old friend and came across this. After HS, grad from MSU w/BA. Moved to Grand Rapids. Worked in the Graphic Design field for 10 years. Married my husband and now have 3 little girls Micah (6), Sydney (4) and Kaiya (2). They're all toe heads. I look pretty much the same (am I just kidding myself?) except I shrunk an inch. Hmm...was that really necessary? We live near Grand Rapids and enjoy many outdoor activities. I have had zero contact with anyone since the 10yr...glad to see those signed in seemed to be doing well. Fun catching up. |

| 1986 | Colyer, Shaan | Mar 26, 2006 at 18:13:38 | Hello everyone. I know I didn't graduate with you, but you were my family from grade school (Attica Elementary) through junior high (White), until I left halfway through the sophomore year at East. Trust me, I did not want to go. (I still have the banner/cards from the bon voyage party). My family had moved us to Flint where I experienced culture shock. Going from being raised in a rural community to being thrust into an inner-city environment was tough. But I survived. I graduated from Flint Central High School. In 1987, I married my high school sweetheart Marci (Swartz Creek '86); next January will be 20 years! We have 4 great kids: Jessica(19), Shaan II (18), Corrina (10), and Liam (8).We did things the hard way, family first, then pursued our educations and careers. I have been in the heating and cooling field in a variety of capacities for 17 years. I have an AAS in HVAC from Mott, and presently am completing a BS in HVACR Engineering Technology from Ferris. I have a Michigan HVAC contractors license (ran my own business for several years). However, my passion is teaching as I have been an HVAC instructor at Mott in Flint for the past 8 years. I also have done curriculum and lab development, and developed and teach an intensified HVAC program for the M-TEC in Howell. My wife Marci is a Mott and Ferris grad, an RN, and recently has entered the teaching arena for Baker College. She is also a runner, mostly 5K, but has done the Crim for the past 4 years. We still live in Flint (Flint Twp), been here all this time. It has been fun reading about everyone’s' lives, wanted to share a little of mine and say hello after all these years. I have not forgotten any of you. My email address is: hvacrteacher@yahoo.com. |

To my surprise, I found some wonderful updates from previous classmates. Well, about me- After high school, I tried a lot of different things from acting to nail school. I finally decided to go to college. I graduted from Oakand University with a bachelors in Hurman Resource Deveolpment in 1995. I got married in 1996 and moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan where I currently live. I have worked at Davenport University for 11 years and my current role is an academic advisor. I love it. I love working with students. My husband is an RN, and we have two bengal cats. They are our kids. :) My biggest hobby is long distance running. I ran the Grand Rapids 1/2 (13.1 miles) marathon last year, and plan to Run the Riverbank (15.5) mile run this Spring and, hopefully, the Grand Rapids marthon this Fall. | 1986 | (Lebo) Tea, Brenda | Jun 28, 2008 at 22:42:57 | My Mother told me about the Alum page - she stumbled upon it last night. I enjoyed seeing so many familiar names and reading the records. I have lived out of state for a long time now. Michigan is still home and so it wounds my soul when I am accused of a southern accent. My husband, Brad, is from Ohio and he works in outpatient therapy. I have a Masters in nutrition, did some doctoral work (hated the rats) and am a Dietitian by trade. I make my living as an Exec VP of a home health agency in central Kentucky, focus is statistical analysis of biodata. We have two great sons, now aged 5 and 3 (late start) - they take after their father, thank heavens, and are very handsome. I barely have time to turn around most days, but I love it that way. It would be so nice to see Lapeer again - I need to do that soon. |
