I'm planning on going to college like I should have in the fall of '91. Anyway, I feel old! I can't believe it's been nearly a decade since high school! Wow! Time flies when you're screwing off! Nick's in Lapeer the end of our senior year and married in 1994. I went to business college for two years and received my associates degree. My husband and I bought a home in Madison Heights (near Royal Oak) and lived there for three years while I worked and my husband started his photography career. We bought our second home back in Lapeer in 1997 where I worked at an accounting firm for a year and a half. We've extended our family from one dog (a yellow lab named Tucker) to our first born, daughter Isabella Grace, who is now two and a half, and our second born, son Gavin Riley, who is now three months old. I love being a stay-home-mom and plan to go back to work when our children are both in school full-time. I hope to see you all at a reunion soon. |

Graduated with a BS in 1998 and am currently working in Northville with a Consulting Firm as a software implementation consultant and project manager. My husband passed away from lung cancer in 97. Mack and I chose to stay in Midland where I have a great job as legal assistant to the City Attorney. We bought a house a year ago, although since I recently got engaged (like 4 days ago) to a wonderful Midland native, we will be moving again. He and his brother run the family construction company. We plan to marry in August. I keep in touch w/Jen Harris (who is also getting married to high school sweetheart in Oct.) and Stephanie Coulter and Tyler Owens -- who married in 96 and had a baby boy this past December. In the Fall of 1993 iI moved to Minnesota to go to school, I ended up becoming a cosmetologist and make-up artist for motion pictures I soon became a salon owner but after 5 years i started a new profession in the Medical field. I am currently working as a paramedic in Oakland co as well as some of the greater Detroit area-WOW do you get to see some cool stuff. I also decided to go back to Medical school and I have 2 years left. I am married to a paramedic/firefighter who is also currently in the police academy. We have 3 children Kristyn 10, Kaleb 8, Kameron 6, and hope to have more in the years to come. We bought our first home in Clarkston and are still residing here. I was in the Marine Corps for four years, and I've been a stay at home mom since I got out. If someone would have told me 10 years ago that I would move all over the world, and have three girls, I would have laughed at them! My girls are Lauren (8), Hannah (6), and Victoria (2 months). I love being a stay at home mom. I can't imagine doing anything else. I have a wonderful husband. He is from Louisiana, and we have been married for 10 years. He is a Marine officer, so we spend a lot of time moving around. But it is fun. I will never move back to Michigan, but I do like to visit. I would love to hear from some of you. In 1997, we moved back to the metro-Detroit area and currently live in Lake Orion. I recently completed my Master's Degree in Software Engineering Administration from Central Michigan University. I take any programming classes that I can possibly fit in to our schedule. For the past six years, I've been employed by Siemens VDO, a Tier 1 automotive supplier. I currently am a Systems Engineer in the Powertrain Division. Cissie works at Oakland Community College as a Training Assistant. The rest of our spare time has been taken with raising our son, Steven Jr.(3 yrs old) and our daughter, Kelly (6 months old). I rarely see any LE alums, but I hope everyone is doing well. Now that we have the perfect family of 1 boy and 1 girl I think we're done. I decided to stay at home befor Mya was born, but didn't really like it. I was at home for about 9 months then went back to work as the head of the closing department at Woodward Financial Services in Bloomfield Hills. I did that for about 4 months full time and am now doing it part time in the office and two days a week out of my home. I still have to see if this part time thing works. We moved to a new house in Clarkston because we needed more room and the Clarkston schools are better. Anywho, I left Ann Arbor, my biotech job (and degree) in December 2005 after almost nine years of hum drum 9-5 life. I kicked around ideas of what to do with my life when I finally settled on a career in law enforcement. I had always wanted to be a cop but never really had the opportunity right out of high school. Graduated in May 2007 from the 80th Delta College Police Academy (second oldest in the class). That was a very long yet rewarding 17 weeks. Two weeks later, I began working with a police department in northern Michigan. It feels really good to start anew in something I really want to do while I have the opportunity. Hopefully others have the chance to do the same if you are not already - DON'T be afraid to start over! I found out the hard way there is nothing worse than hating to go into work everyday. As for the personal stuff, still single/never married with no kids calling me "dad" out there. Just moved up north near Indian River. Hope everyone is doing well. Feel free to e-mail. |
| 1991 | (Coulter)Tait, Stephanie | 1/11/2003 at 1:01:53 PM | Hi everyone! Well alot has happened since I graduated. I graduated from college in '95 with a dental hygiene degree. I worked in an office in Lapeer for 6 yrs. Tyler and I divorced in 2001. We had a baby boy named Alexandre, he is now 4. He goes to preschool, and is doing very well. We have him on the waiting list to play hockey. In the mean time he is taking skating lessons, and he starts soccer in the spring. Since the divorce, I have remarried. My husband's name is Greg. Lesley (Robinson) introduced us, good job Les! Alex and I moved to Midland, where we now live. Greg is a police officer for the City of Midland. He has worked there for 7 yrs. We had a baby girl in September 2002, her name is Emma. She looks just like her dad, and she is a very good baby. I have currently put my career on hold, to stay at home with the kids. I hope to graduate in Fall of 99'. During the summer, I do interior detailing of cars on the side as well as at Sparky's Lapeer. I also work at Pine Knob as a tickettaker. |
