I attended Baker Community College and with those grades I'll be able to get into Virginia Technical Institute and Virginia State. Everybody knows I had so much fun in high school I forgot to get good grades then. I occasionally experiment with single male interactions with single females. Me usually being the male test subject. I love it there but lately I’ve almost solely been wearing the program manager hat. I decided to attain my master’s degree to give me the cutting edge I need to lead a software development project rather than just be on the team. I am very active in my community. I volunteer for 3 local organizations, the Red Cross, the Resource Center, and my son’s Cub Scout pack. I am the Resource Center’s web master. It is based out of Flint, MI. I found them while looking for an internship and I never left. I work solely from my home. I haven’t stepped foot in their office in at least two years. I have taken over many responsibilities for my son’s Cub Scout Pack. We are getting ready for Round-Up right now and I am hoping to recruit many more parents to help through this school year. As it is I am a den leader, secretary, web master, committee member, fundraising coordinator, and round-up coordinator. Phew! I am busy. I’ll tell you what; those that volunteer the most are those that are the busiest. We are the ones that are organized and know how to find the time without neglecting work or family. |

I was studying Art and Design, but unfortunately, that is all I wanted to study, and the rest of my courses took a dive for my lack of being responsible. But then I got a job as a casino dealer, and the next four years went flying by in a flurry of cards. I am not married, close twice, but never made it to the alter. And looking back now, I am glad. I read a few of the posts here and think its good that GG Sholes has found a direction, though different from my own. The same for Scott Smith, Eric Schaeffer, and Mike Beard, I am pleased to know that you are all doing well. Adam Charnley, keep on singing, no matter where you go, that voice is still the best I bet. Liz Sanday, I hope that you have found a good job and are doing well. As for the rest of you, the best of my wishes to you and yours.Personally, I am just getting myself back into school, and will decide what major and minor I will possess after clearing out all of my Liberals out of the way.Aside from that I am putting my life back together, and finally focusing on goal such as a house, car, family, and a nice yellow mutt for the front porch. Can't beat that in my opinion. |

I am living in Imlay City with my husband Eric. We have been married for 10 years now and have two beautiful daughters who both are miracles for us. Zoe Rose Marie, she will be 3 on March 8th and Kayleigh Ann who was born 08-08-08. I am a stay at home mom and I love it, even though sometimes I think I want to get a job outside the home just to have a break once in a while. We are attending Cross Community Church in Romeo Michigan. We came to this church about two and a half years ago because there were only approx 15 people who were at this church. A group of 65 people or so from my church in Lapeer went to revitalize the church so the doors wouldn't be closed. It is going strong now!! We have hit a high of 145 people on a Sunday morning and we are currently in the middle of a building project because we have outgrown the building! It is exciting to see the things God has in store. Since my last posting (in 1999, I believe) I have finished my bachelor's degree at MSU, finished a master's degree at Western, and am now working on a doctorate at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in music performance. I'm also working on a Certificate of Music Theory Instruction (meaning I'll be certified to teach music theory, without actually having a theory degree- woohoo) at the same time. I'm the only fool here doing that. I was married to Julia in May of 2001, and last summer we bought a house in Greensboro, moved down, and got a dog, Ruger. He says "Hi" by the way. I'm starting to get into the swing of things here, although the South is significantly different than the North in many ways, not the least of which is a general slowness most people down here are very fond of. It becomes extremely irritating for Yankees like us, especially because slowness of speech translates to a slowness of driving and an extreme slowness of turning cars. They just can't seem to turn their cars out of my way quite slowly enough.... Enough of the rant, I suppose. Since I am a trumpet player by profession (while simultaneously a student), I make much of my income by playing gigs here and there, such as theater shows, weddings, church services, ceremonies, orchestral concerts, etc. However, I also own a recording business with which I record soloists, ensembles, bands, and the like. This summer holds great hope as I have been hired to record two commercially-released CD albums. It's very exciting! Please, if you feel compelled, drop me an e-mail.
