The gorgeous part of the job is that I can be wherever I like as long as I have high-speed Internet, so I have a two-foot commute and my work clothes are pajamas. I'm thinking of moving back to maybe Rochester come August and buying a home in Lapeer County in a year or so (this is scaring me :), and hopefully adopting a child sometime thereafter. I still get back to Lapeer every couple of weeks to visit my family. |

Hopefully I do well (the first time, because there's nothing like taking an 8 hour exam multiple times) and can apply to Wayne's Medical School in June for the early decision program. I guess it's not so bad afterall. We bought a new house in North Branch 2 years ago. It's not a bad drive to where I work in Pontiac at GM Powertrain. We still also have the Dearborn Heights house, and I am down there a few days a week for classes at Wayne State University. So here it goes....I started off at ferris for a couple years got bored went to michigan state joined a fraternity (Sigma Pi) meet alot of cool people, drank alot, smoked alot and did many things that would probaly make you blush. After about six years of college (I wasnt enrolled half the time, but I was having to much fun to leave) I decided during a snowstorm to move to florida, lived in my car for about a month moved back. Decided to move to NC where I now live I have a awesome 1 year old boy named ashton, I am told I am getting married on New Years this year, I am back in a college down here finishing up a buisness degree and looking to open my own place. I was living in Wilmington, North Carolina for a while but that got kind of old so I went looking for something new to do and boy did I find it. This guy I was working with told me how much money you could make fishing in Alaska so I headed up there in the middle of July and I'm having the time of my life. The company I work for is called Piedmont Fishing and we work out of Anchorage. The weather is starting to get a little cooler and the hours are long but the country is beautiful. It is usually a pretty dull job, but it pays for room and board. I am still working hall security and as soon as our pool on campus opens up again i will probably teach swim lessons again. There is not a whole lot to do here in Big Rapids, so i usually just hang around with friends or find a pick up game of some sort or another. Right now we have almost three feet of snow, but it isn't too bad. My grades are decent, and I have decided that I work to much. One of my new favorite passtimes is paintball, so if anyone ever wants to get a game together and is anywhere around here, just let me know. We currently live in Detroit, which by the way is a hole and you should never move here or give this city any money in any form, even at the casinos. My wife is a music teacher in Canton, and I unfortunately work for a security company. I'm not really a security guard, but close enough. I have a son and two daughters. John Eubanks (grad of 1995) and I just tied the knot on Valentine's Day 2004. We had been dating since my junior year of high school so, the day was very much anticipated. I went to Ferris State after high school and I graduated with a bachelors in computer information systems. I'm still working for the city of rochester hills as a Computer Systems Administrator. It amazes me how many people are married and have a few kids. Some have unfortunately already experienced a divorce or two. I guess it should be expected since we are all in our mid to late twenties maybe I'm just falling behind. I don't have any kids still and I'm not married yet. I got engaged back in September and we're currently planning on getting married in Aug 07. Other than that there isn't much going on. I live in rochester with my dog Travis and spend my time going to the movies and playing video games on my xbox 360 that I WAY overpaid for on ebay. My username on xbox live is suavemike if anyone else still plays games. I don't think I'll ever stop playing games although my fiance would love it if I did. I hope everyone is doing well. I keep in touch with a few people from high school but there's a few that I've lost touch with after school that I'm curious as to what happened to them. Hopefully they'll show up at a reunion if we ever have one. |

I went skydiving and would do it everyday if I could afford it.I graduated from MSU in May 2001 with a bachelor's degree in International Relations. I am currently living and working in Lansing. I work for a firm called Linder & Assoc. It is a fundraisng firm. Right now we have 11 clients that are running for the State Senate, so with less than a week to the general election I am pretty stressed out and our clients are spending money like is grows on trees. I think the worst part is to watch a client blow $250,000 and lose. However, that is why I am considering a job change. I will be moving in August to New York. I am in the process of applying for jobs with foundations (either hospital foundations or something like the American Cancer Society). Other than that I am just working every day. After school and a few run-ins with Lapeer's finest, I decided that I needed to make a change. I enlisted in the United States Marine Corps (semper fi to all you devil dogs out there). After being stationed at Camp Pendleton in California and Camp Lejeune in North Carolina, I finished out my enlistment at Parris Island in South Carolina. I met my wife Nichole while she was attending Coastal Carolina University in Myrtle Beach and after discharge from the military we moved to Charleston, South Carolina. While in Charleston, I began my career with Ferguson Enterprises(Contractor Supply House) as a warehouse clerk. They finally realized my true worth to the company, moved me up to sales, and transfered my wife and I to Raleigh, North Carolina. Things are going great for both of us and I love my life. Nichole is currently attending NC State to get her masters in higer education and I am just killing the heating and air market down here. We have a dog (bailey) and a cat (butters) and no kids. Last season we went 18-4-2, best ever in school history! Had an exchange student from Finland who was probably the best player ive seen on high school field. He shattered the LE scoring record with 42 goals! We were ranked for all but 1 week in division 2, we started at 10 then moved to 8, then 6, and finished at 8. We also captured our first ever division title!!! 20 years worth! For all who played on the team in our years, i hope this sends the message of what COULD have been. Sadly we had PEON. :( Currently i am working on our youth soccer program which now helps us promote good, solid, smart play from u-10 and up. In my free time i play WoW. World of Warcraft, yea yea i know. I play on Whisperwind, look me up. But my free time is very limited because of the soccer stuff. Hope everyone is doing well. |
