He is a sergeant in the U.S ARMY. we have a beautiful little girl named Jenna.. she is 2. we are stationed in Fort Riley Kansas. As of now, I am living back in metamora while my husband does his 2nd tour over in Iraq. I miss him a lot, but am very proud of him also. I will be moving back to Kansas either in may or august of next year. so if anyone wants to get together let me know. I will be living in michigan for good sometime in 2010. Most of the year I am touring the country with my band! I'm super excited right now because our first full length album is being mixed right now and it's going to be available at every 'Hot Topic' in the US, as well as a lot of Best Buy's, FYE's etc... Chris Herr, Brian Gorecki, Caleb Butler, and I (all Lapeer East Alumni) are in a band called "Bringing Down Broadway." We used to be called "Gauge" back in the day but we changed our name. When I'm not on tour, I'm working at Kruse & Muer in Rochester, and Hungry Howie's in Metamora. I'm planning on marrying Betsy Bogert (Lapeer East circa 2006) on July 19th of 2008. I've been really getting into research, as I have worked in two labs on campus thus far... one being a lab which studies vitamin a deficiency and the other is a plant pathology lab which studies fungus...haha. I'm super excited about my work in plant pathology and I think that I'm going to combine my bachelors in nutrition with something of environmental policy/plant pathology to get my Ph. D. The place has really changed a lot in the last year or so, now not only to I run the counter, but I also work the grill and bartend on occassions. I will graduate from Eastern in April and then we will see where life takes me, but I would really like to stay in Lapeer. |

My internship with Banana 101.5 ended in 2007 and I much as I miss those guys, I know that it was one of the best, most exciting two and a half years of my life and I learned SO SO SO much from them... I'm sure I'll work with some of them again in the near future!! Like I said, I haven't left the Flint area. I'm currently attending the University of Michigan-Flint for Journalism and Media Studies. I write for the campus newspaper, The Michigan Times, covering a handful of sports beats. There's a lot of exciting things happening in the department and on campus and I'm so happy to be here. I went to school in Orlando for special effects makeup(sfx). I worked at one of the largest salons in Tampa. I now freelance for MAC cosmetics, but I most of my time is spent on a production set. My boyfriend and I have been together now for over a year, and we just bought another house in Coconut Grove(about 15 mins south of miami). I went to Oakland University my first 2 years, then finished up with a B.A. in Psychology at Michigan State University. I had the best experience ever at State and I could say that East Lansing is my home away from home. After completing an internship as a junvenile probation officer in Lansing, (summer of 07) I spent the next few months just hanging out in East Lansing. Before I knew it, I was packing my bags for Austin, TX in January 2008. I moved here with a college friend and everything has been wonderful. Great people, nice weather.. definitely starting another great chapter in my life. I do miss the college life, but now I currently work at a credit union as a member service representative and I couldn't be happier. Look me up on facebook if you haven't already. Yeah Boot Camp was rough, but things get better. I'm being trained as a 0351 Assaultman. Basically speaking I get to blow things up(and I get paid for it). I graduate here on Nov 26. Hopefully I'll be home for the month of December on recruiters assistance, so you might see me around. After that I have to go to Virginia for Security Forces School. When thats done I get assigned to my duty station where I have no clue where thats at. But thats the excitement. If your not sure what do do with your life like some people, serve your country, and wear a sweet uniform join the Marine Corps. Its worth it. |

And I also forgot my username, so I'm just going to create a new one! :) Well, I graduated from the University of Illinois Chicago in May with a degree in English and Chemistry. I have been working for the Chicago Bears for the past year and a half, and was recently promoted to the Executive Suites Coordinator for the 2007-2008 season!! I'm in charge of all the luxery suites and event planning for all games and parties. This season is especially crazy after we went to the Super Bowl last year! I currently live with my boyfriend of two years - he's such a great guy!! I try to come home often, but it never happens as often as I might like. Going back to Lapeer is obviously like night and day from living in Chicago since high school. But it has its perks. I hope everyone is doing well and having a blast wherever you are. I can't wait til our reunion so we can all catch up! |

I thought Lapeer was lame because it was small, but now that I'm here at Alma, and in a school that's smaller than East, I realize that it's not the size that matters (man, can that be used for everything or what?). Here we make our own fun, and if you ask me it's the best! I hope everyone has found as much fulfillment as I already have! Med school has its trade-offs: classes are rough, but doctor shadowing has been truly valuable. Still planning on pursuing pediatric endocrinology, though currently looking into additional research opportunities in functional medicine and public health. --- *Just found out I was approved for a medical mission group to Belize for March, 2009! EXCITED!* --- Stephanie and I started our own private endorsements franchise in June, endorsing for such companies as Dell, Barnes&Noble, Circuit City, and Office Depot...and getting paid to do it. With the number of companies whose products we have access to, we essentially get paid to eat, drink, shower, brush our teeth, clean our house, use toilet paper...there isn't much we do that we're not turning into an income stream. I worked on one feature film that will becoming out sometime next year and I've worked on five short films plus one music video for a Detroit band I've never heard of. My student film was seen by somebody pretty well known in the film industry and he liked it enough where he asked me to extend it out and make a longer version. Along with two films I'm writing/directing and producing, I'm also the FX artist on a film later this year. So, I've got myself pretty tied up. I still have to wrap up on two more movies this month.
