_______The History of wood technology, use of tools, safety, construction principles, introduction to wood finishes and other wood processes is what the classes are all about. Students will be charged for some supplies. The classes includes the practice of skills in construction practices in frames and bases, use of hand and power tools and the selection of finishes, fabrics, and materials, and instruction in processes used in upholstery. Student will be supervised at all times when using the tools. There is also a Metals class which will deal with the same type of information but with the different types of metals and how to weld.
