This course contains content in the following areas: problem solving, computation including use of integers, rational and real numbers, statistics and data analysis, pattern and number sense, proportion including applications, percent and geometric investigation.

515- Applied Math I- 2 Credits
This course contains content in the following areas: problem solving techniques, estimation, measurement, using graphs, charts, and tables, statistics, geometry in two and three dimensions, ratios, and proportions. Seniors may be admitted with teacher approval.

516- Applied Math II- 2 Credits
This course contains content in the following areas: scale drawings, signed numbers and vectors, scientific notation, precision, accuracy and tolerance, applications using powers and roots, linear equations, and non-linear equations.

Coordinate geometry and quadrilaterals, counting strategies, probability and binomials, logic and proof, similar and congruent triangles, polynomial and rational functions, coordinates and figures in space, modeling problem situations, exploring and applying functions. (NCAA)

528 – Integrated Math IV – 2 credits
Topics to be taught in this course include logical reasoning and methods of proof, sequences and series, exponential and logarithmic functions, modeling and analyzing data, applying probability models, angles trigonometry and vectors, transformations of graphs and data, and periodic models.

541- Pre-Calculus with Trigonometry- 2 Credits

This course introduces students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing and drawing conclusions from data. Major topics include organizing data, designing experiments and simulations, probability and drawing inferences from data. This is a rigorous college-level class that prepares the student to take the Advanced Placement Statistics Exam.
