650- Physical Education- 1 Credit
Emphasis is placed on introductory sports and recreational games, and developing athletic skills. Physical fitness is stressed testing conducted throughout each marking period. (Two years of marching band may count for the PE650 graduation requirement)

651- Health- 1 Credit
Health class includes the study of body systems, physical well being, and healthful living practices. (Life Management Education 451, 460, or 461 may be substituted for Health)

652- Lifetime Fitness- 1 Credit
A personal fitness class designed for students who prefer a noncompetitive atmosphere. Emphasis will be placed on improvement in the five aspects of health fitness: cardio-vascular endurance, flexibility, body composition, muscular endurance and muscular strength. Class is open to all 9th and 10th graders. 9th graders without PE credit will be given preference for enrollment. This class may have a fee attached to it if we get to use the Lapeer Recreation Center.

60- Advanced Physical Education- 2 Credits
Team and individual sports and games are stressed. Physical fitness testing if conducted each marking period. There is an opportunity to improve sport skills and body conditioning. Being squad leaders, captains, and student assistants can develop leadership. This course may be repeated but cannot be taken concurrently with 670.

670- Physical Conditioning- 2 Credits
This course will provide students an opportunity to improve their overall physical conditioning and athletic skills to assist in reaching an individual’s maximum physical potential. This will be accomplished by a variety of physical and skill related activities, tailored to meet an individual’s specific needs. This course cannot be taken concurrently with 650 or 660.
