Spanish I is the first year in a sequential class. Therefore, this class has the expectation of moving through chapters 1-6 and as far into chapter 7 as can possibly be accomplished so that students planning to continue into Spanish II will be able to step into the next sequential class without feeling as though they have missed something! The textbook used for this class is Ven Comigo, with some additional work out of La Fonetica, a workbook designed to prove background on pronunciation
