Policies and Procedures

Attendance is critical to you success in higher level math classes. We will be building on what we have learned throughout the course, therefore it is very important that you are in class, that you make up all the work you missed when you were absent, and that you ask questions when you do not understand the topic being covered. It is imperative that you are in class and that you keep up with daily assignments.

LAPEER EAST is a GREAT place to LEARN! After graduation you will reflect back on your high school years with many great memories. You are fortunate to attend such a nice school. Please RESPECT your fellow classmates, the teachers, and administration in the building, the building its self (lockers, desks...).

Grading polices and procedures:

Everyone needs to participate fully, listen, do all their work to the best of their ability and to be on time.

Bring textbook, notebook, pencil, calculator, and agenda book to class everyday. Be on time to class and be prepared. All papers including notes, assignments, and quizzes are to be placed into your notebook. Your notebook and agenda book will be graded periodically.

Responsibilities of all students are to respect each other and their personal property and complete the daily requirements in a timely fashion.

After school help is available most days after school from 2:10-3:10 unless I have a staff meeting. This time can be used by students to get extra help when they do not understand the section(s) being taught, to do homework, to study for quizzes or tests or to take make-up quizzes or tests.

IIgether all of us can make this year a very enjoyable one! Please remember to treat one another as you would like to be treated, have a positive attitude, and do you best at all time!
